Now I am totally thinking about you with Billy Crudup. Wow. Hottie McHot.

But James Blunt????? Hugo, I thought you had better taste than that sh*te! What happened to Sufjian?

Hugo

I can handle Sufjian, but not my favorite.

Seven classes a semester??? How could you possibly have time to do all of that, even if you didn't eat, sleep, work out, and write on this blog???! Are all the CC teaching gigs like this?

Hugo

Standard CC load is five courses per semester; most full-time faculty teach "overload" courses (one or two).

hm . . .

I remember reading somewhere that every figure that appears in a person's dreams is a representation of some aspect of a person's self. So, if I were your therapist I'd ask what Billy Crudup represents to you and ask if your perceive that those characteristis are absent in your life or if you feel unresolved about them in your own life.

On the other hand, sometimes dreams are psyche soup and don't mean diddly squat.

Please, no! I once dreamed about Nixon - right in the middle of the Watergate scandals.

Well, Billy Crudup has a charm I wish I had; when he was in "Without Limits" he was an extraordinarily convincing distance runner. (In training for that film, he apparently ran a 58 second 400 meter -- a time of which I can only dream...)

Hugo - you could run 58 second 400 meter - the guy chasing you would have to be big, ugly, scary and armed - but you could totally do it.

Hugo

Glen, that's 12 seconds faster than my PR... still, I've never been chased around the track before by anyone other than skinny guys and gals in lycra. Add a gun, and who knows?
