I'm feeling busy and underslept, but I'm resisting the temptation to go for the sodas.
I always feel strangely guilty when I don't get up at least two substantive posts per day. I think that guilt is one of other things I need to let go of this Lent.
Still, I promise something reasonably good tomorrow. Off to the gym, and the chance to indulge myself in the dubious assumption that disciplining the body for the sake of health and vanity is a fundamentally virtuous activity.

No more dubious than the folks that give up coffee.

Hugo, isn't vanity a sin? If so, then you're in real trouble brother... ;)

It is indeed a sin -- some say closely related to the deadliest one, pride.
I am a very great sinner, very much in need of grace. My vanity causes me to oscillate between an excessive admiration for my own virtues, and a ruthless and obsessive criticism of my myriad perceived shortcomings. In any event, it's all a distraction from important spiritual work.
