I believe that Fr. Neuhaus has said that he is not in favor of the death penalty either, though FT has certainly not made a major issue of it. The Bottum article was good though. Now if they would only see reason on the Iraq war! (Though in fairness, they have run articles by Rowan Williams, Stanley Hauerwas, and Paul Griffiths questioning various aspects of the war on terror - sorry, global struggle against violent extremism!)


I think a lot of about how more blood in the ground further "pollutes" it. . .kind of a communal thing, more for our own good that we not shed more blood.

and I think a lot about CSI and how you can find blood in the ground, or grout or white-washed well. the science puts another layer on it.


I know that is the best.
